The Multi-Track Package represents the highest-quality live music recording

available.

his package makes direct utilization of the microphones used for

sound reinforcement,

n combination with strategically-placed room

microphones, to record the highest-

uality

multi-track program possible.

The microphone source signals

of all available instruments (including vocals)

are

tapped

at the stage, using lossless

balanced signal

splitters, then routed via snake to the

recording

equipment

To the greatest extent possible, the signal sources (microphones

and direct boxes) used for sound reinforcement will be

used directly.

In the event that

a sound

reinforcement

ignal source

is not available for one

or more desired

instruments,

supplementary microphones will be

provided

as necessary

In addition

, a

pair of room microphones

will be included

in the recording array

The recording configuration utilizes an extended multi-channel setup, with

up to 16

channels available. The recording configuration is studio-quality

(96kHz, 24-bit sample

depth) for extremely high quality frequency response

and dynamic range.

Like the Critical Listener Package, the post-processing production utilizes

multi-track

mix-down, with a higher number of source tracks. Like

the

studio-based counterpart,

the mix-down process is condu

ted in

coordination with the musical producer, to

maintain artistic integrity for the

performers. Mastering follows the mix-down process,

with subtle and

suitable application of compression and equalization to ensure the

highest-

quality result. The final tracks are delivered in WAV format, on CD-ROM.
