The "Casual Listener" Package

Coperto Soundworks is dedicated to capturing the essence of live musical performance, as
the audience experiences it.
Coperto Soundworks utilizes state-of-the-art technology and
years of practical experience to record those precious musical moments.

The Casual Listener Package could be thought of as a "quick and dirty" approach, except
there's nothing dirty about it.
To accomplish the task, a Coperto Recording Engineer sits in
the room,
strategically placed among the audience, with a portable stereo recorder.  The
presence of the recorder is completely unobstrusive to the performers, and captures the full
effect of audience response.
The Engineer records the entire performance, as heard by the
audience.

After the performance, the recording is post-processed for distribution.  Using dedicated
music post-processing software, compression and gain leveling are applied
at appropriate
measures
to assure a quality product, and the resulting compressed-format (MP3) digital
music tracks are distributed via email.  The typical turnaround time for a one-set show is
within 48 hours after the show.
For a nominal shipping fee, the master tracks can optionally
be stored on CD-ROM and mailed to the performers.

The Casual Listener Package is offered at the special price of $49 for a one-hour set, at a
venue located within the metropolitan Boston area.  For longer duration performances or
other locations, please
contact Coperto Soundworks for a competitive price quote.

Video Recording

In addition to audio recording, some performers are also interested in capturing the visual
aspects of their performances.  Every performer knows that the visual component is an
important part of the overall audience experience, and improvement of the overall visual
presentation can only be accomplished by direct observation of the performance.

As an additional optional service, Coperto Soundworks offers video recording of the
performance.  Using single camera technique from an audience vantage point, a video
recording will be captured of the stage performance.  The resultant footage is stored in
compressed format and shipped on CD-ROM.  The additional cost for video recording a one-
hour set is $25;
